My entire career has been about identifying and correcting problems. Having spent four years as president of the self-governance body of the University of Georgia, I know well how difficult it is to take broad concepts to localized individuals, foster trust and understanding, get problems resolved, address grievances, and keep a large organization focused and functioning on its mission.
